ATTN: CS Campaigner Battalion! For the 160th Wilderness event taking place in May of 2024, I will be taking on pre-orders for loaded arsenal packets of blank cartridges! THESE PRE-ORDERS ARE FOR DELIVERY ONLY! There will be no shipping of loaded cartridges. If you place a pre-order for the event and do not attend, you will be refunded. If you’re attending this event in my company, ammunition will be issued to you from proper crates! ( I will be in H Co. 61st GA. If you’re not in H Co 61st GA, your order will be distributed to the Quartermaster for dispersal to your company in a package labeled with your name. Each pre-order is for 4 arsenal packets of 10 loaded .58cal Minie-style blank cartridges, with 12 caps.

IF YOU’RE ATTENDING THE EVENT AS FEDERAL: YOU MUST SPECIFY AS SUCH IN THE ORDER NOTES. THIS GROUP BUY IS FOR CS LABELED AMMUNITION, DELIVERED TO THE CS CAMPAIGNER BATTALION. IF YOU DO NOT IDENTIFY YOURSELF AS FEDERAL, YOU WILL GET CS-LABELED AMMUNITION ANYWAY, AND I WON’T KNOW IN ADVANCE TO SEPARATE YOUR AMMO FOR DISTRIBUTION AT REGISTRATION.

For those of you choosing to use a US .58cal cartridge box, or CS Copy thereof, these cartridges will fit your tins correctly. My Enfield-style cartridges will be too long, this was a common problem encountered in the field by Confederate soldiers, and played a part in the adoption of the M1839 Style cartridge box being chosen for adoption by the Confederate Army. If you happen to be carrying an English import cartridge box, or an M1839, feel free to choose the Enfield cartridges in the other listing!

These will be labeled as having been made at Lynchburg Arsenal, in VA which was unique in that they were still making Minie-style cartridges in mid/late 1864.

IF YOU ARE NOT ATTENDING THE 160TH WILDERNESS, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. YOU WILL BE REFUNDED IF YOU’RE NOT ON THE REGISTRATION LIST.
