.69 Minie Balls (Qty. 24 ea)
$31.00 – $33.00
These aren’t bullets, they’re monsters. A good deal of US Model 1842 Muskets were rifled post-production during the US Ordnance Department’s pursuit of a modern rifle design. To suit their update, a massive Burton style “Minie” ball was developed and issued with them, seeing service in both theaters of the American Civil War. My reproductions are cast on the long-extinct Lyman 68569 mold, and weigh an incredible 730gr. I fire these through an Armisport Reproduction using 70 grains of 1fg black powder but, please only use a load that is safe for you, and for your weapon!
